Our Clinic - Your First Visit

Upon entering Cardiff Bay Chiropractic, you will be greeted and asked to complete some brief paperwork. This provides us with some general information about yourself, your condition and your current lifestyle. This enables us to build up a picture of your individual needs so we are able to tailor your Chiropractic care to meet your specific preferences.

Once the paperwork has been completed, your New Patient Examination will begin. Your Chiropractor will take a full medical history by a series of Orthopaedic and Neurological tests. If deemed appropriate after examination X-Rays may be taken (please see below for further details). Once the examination is complete, the front desk will book your Report of Findings Consultation.

If your examination meets certain criteria, X-Rays may be deemed necessary to rule out more serious conditions and assist us in giving you the most accurate diagnosis possible. Rest assured that only the essential views will be taken, and you will see them at your Report of Findings Consultation (see below).

We advise you to bring along a family member, partner or friend to your follow-up appointment as you will be given a lot of information. At this point your Chiropractor will go through the results of your New Patient examination, and show you any X-Rays that were taken, making sure the significance of what has been found is thoroughly explained. You will learn how Chiropractic works in relation to your condition, and if a course of adjustments is recommended you will be informed how many visits will be required, and the total cost of your care.

After your Report of Findings Consultation the front desk will book your entire schedule of Chiropractic Adjustments to ensure that you get your ideal days and times.
